You receive an error message when you try to turn on the Fast User Switching feature in Windows XP

SYMPTOMS

When you try to turn on the Fast User Switching feature in the Microsoft Windows XP User Accounts Control Panel, you may receive an error message that is similar to the following:
A recently installed program has disabled the Welcome screen and Fast User Switching. To restore these features, you must uninstall the programs. The following file name might help identify the program that made the change: C:\windows\system32\DPGINA.dll

CAUSE

This issue may occur if you installed the Microsoft DigitalPersona Password Manager 1.0.0 software.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, remove the DigitalPersona Password Manager 1.0.0 software, turn on the Fast User Switching feature, and then reinstall the DigitalPersona Password Manager 1.0.0 software. To do this, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, click Run, type Appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
2.Under Currently installed programs, click DigitalPersona Password Manager 1.0.0, click Remove, and then click Yes.
3.Click Yes to restart your computer.
4.Click Start, click Run, type Nusrmgr.cpl, and then click OK.
5.Click Change the way user log on or off, click to select the Use the Welcome Screen check box and the Use Fast User Switching check box, and then click Apply Options.
